This program were the final project of my master degree in civil engineering, I had finished this program in about four month from scratch until it’s done, a lot of effort were done to finish this program. The main purpose of this program is to optimize the design of reinforced concrete that were analyze with the Strut And Tie Model. In order to optimize the Strut And Tie Model a genetic algorithm is used. I have modeling a lot of concrete structure element with this program such as Deep Beam, Corbel, Double Corbel, Beam, Hammer Head, Footings and Beam. In this overview I only show the Hammer Head without the supporting pier and it’s optimized with genetic algorithm. This program can also approximate the deformation of Concrete structure element with Strut And Tie Model using Effective width area, it is quite well in order to approximate the deformation until the strut and tie element ratio is over the maximum stress allowed by the ACI code.

Program Specification :

• Truss2D Engine Were Written In Microsoft Visual C#.Net 2005.

• Genetic Algorithm Engine Were Written In Microsoft Visual C#.Net 2005.

• Graphical User Interface Were Written In Microsoft Visual Basic.Net 2005.

• The Output Of Analysis Spreadsheet And Deformation Graph And Spreadsheet is Using The Office Web Components 11.

The Ability of The Program :

• Analyzing And Design Strut And Tie Model of Reinforced Concrete Structure.

• Optimizing Strut And Tie Model Of Reinforced Concrete Structure Using Genetic Algorithm.

• Approximate the deformation of Strut And Tie Model Using Effective Width Area.

• Two Optimizing Method Were Used, The First is Optimizing Without Controlling The Allowable Deformation Of Strut And Tie Model and The Second is Optimizing With Controlling The Allowable Deformation Of Strut And Tie Model.

• Analyzing The Deformation With Load Step Method.
