SAP 2000 merupakan salah satu program yang paling mutakhir dalam analisa struktur di bidang teknik sipil. Namun, beberapa pengguna masih menggunakan program tersebut tanpa melakukan verifikasi terhadap luaran yang dihasilkan. Validitas dari luaran tersebut akan sangat penting terutama jika digunakan untuk mendesain suatu struktur. Boost SAP 2000 Running Process By Using RamDisk
SAP 2000 is a structural analysis program with tons of features and user friendly GUI. However, to solve larger problems usually the computational cost is reasonably high and the program does store some of its data in the Hard-Disk Drive (HDD) and is slowing down the computational performance. In this article, rather that storing the data in HDD, the data is stored in a RamDisk which will speed up the computation time up to 2~4 times faster. This article presents an example of Non-Linear Stage Constructional Analysis (NLSCA) with prestressed elements and tested on five Personal Computer (PC) with different configurations.
